On April 1, 1992, the history of the development of the enterprise begins with the registration of the production and installation enterprise “Energocomplekt”.

The first products were released under the Energocomplekt trademark.

“Production Association” Energocomplekt" Ltd. was established in Vitebsk (Republic of Belarus). The main activities of the enterprise are the production and sale of cable and wire products.

The enterprise set up the production of wires for overhead power lines. The production of АВВГ power cables, A and AC bare wires, АПВ and АППП installation wires was launched.

“Energocomplect” brand was registered.

Opening of branches in Minsk and Brest. For the first time in Belarus, the manufacture of armored cables was started. The equipment for the production of СИП self-supporting wires was set in operation.

Opening of a branch in Grodno. The production of telephone and radio cables, as well as cables for high operating temperatures was launched. The enterprise became a member of a non-commercial partnership of cable manufacturers “International Association “Elektrokabel”.

Opening of branches in Gomel and Mogilev. The company became a member of the International Association of Cable Manufacturers “Interkabel”, which unites manufacturers from the CIS and Eastern Europe.

A new workshop was built, where the first line for stranding cables of large cross-sections was installed, the enterprise mastered the production of power cables with a cross-section of over 95 mm² and cables with sector-shaped conductors, armored cables of large cross-sections. The company began to produce power cables with up to 5 cores and a cross-section of up to 240 mm².

Belarusian and Russian certificates, confirming the compliance of the quality management system in the production of cable and wire products with the requirements of STB ISO 9001-2001 and RST ISO 9001-2001; Belarusian certificate of accreditation of the testing laboratory of PA “Energocomplekt” for technical competence in accordance with the requirements of STB ISO / IEC 17025 were obtained.

Inclusion of PA “Energocomplekt” Ltd. in the National Register of Goods Producers.

The license for the manufacture of the H07V-K cable under the German standard DIN VDE 0281-3, the Russian certificate of accreditation of the testing laboratory PA “Energocomplekt” in accordance with the requirements of GOST R ISO / IEC 17025-2000 were obtained. The production of flame-retardant power cables with low smoke and gas emission (нг-LS) was started.

Implementation of an investment project to master the production of medium and high voltage cables with XLPE insulation was started.

The enterprise set up the production of 6–35 kV cables with XLPE insulation. A continuous vulcanization line was launched, which made it possible to set up the production of high-voltage cables of medium and high voltage (6–110 kV) by the method of peroxide cross-linking. A testing station for testing high-voltage cables was built.

The enterprise set up the production of 110 kV cables with XLPE insulation.

PA “Energocomplekt” Ltd. is a resident of FEZ “Vitebsk”.

9000 m² of production area were put into operation.

New equipment put into operation:

• MKD 1+12+18+24+30×630 stranding line for conductors with a cross-section of up to 1200 mm²;
• EEL 60-1 extrusion line for insulation, filling and sheath for the production of power cables;
• MSM 85 double-rod aluminum coarse drawing line.

The advantages of the new equipment are shorter manufacturing times, expanding the range of products, production of cables with more accurate parameters. Certification for compliance with the quality management system (GOST R ISO 9001-2008) was carried out.

The enterprise set up the production of VICAB universal data transmission cable.

Certification of the occupational safety management system of the enterprise for compliance with the requirements of the OHSAS 18001: 2007 in the international certification system “Bureau Veritas” was carried out.

Launch of the production of Milliken-type segmented conductor cables. The production of mine cables for power supply of mining and heading machines, self-propelled cars and mobile machines in mine workings was started.

The enterprise set up the production of power cables for powering electric motors with frequency regulation. The Belarusian National Technical University scientifically proved the effectiveness of using cables for a voltage of 6–110 kV with XLPE insulation.

The enterprise set up the production of medium voltage power cables (10–35 kV) with EPR insulation.

According to the results of 2018, the title of the laureate of the “Prize of the Government of the Republic of Belarus for achievements in the field of quality” was confirmed.

The electro-technical laboratory of PA “Energocomplekt” Ltd. received the right to use the combined mark of the International Organization for Accreditation of Laboratories ILAC MRA. The right to use the combined ILAC MRA mark gives the protocols issued by the electro-technical laboratory of PA “Energocomplekt” Ltd. a special status recognized all over the world by accredited laboratories that are parties to the international ILAC MRA Agreement in the areas of testing and calibration.

• The production of water-cooled cable of the KSV brand was mastered.
Water-cooled power cables are intended for flexible sections of secondary current leads of arc steel-smelting furnaces, as well as for other types of electric furnaces - ladle furnace units, vacuum, ore-thermal, induction, electroslag remelting units.
• The production of wire for quarry equipment and rolling stock of rail transport was mastered.
Wires for quarry equipment and rolling stock of rail transport are intended for fixed connection of electrical equipment and devices of quarry equipment, as well as for electrical circuits of locomotives and multiple unit rolling stock laid outside the train driver's cabin and passenger compartments, designed for rated voltage up to 300/500 V and 600/1000 V with a frequency of up to 400 Hz.

• Production of flexible mine cables for self-propelled cars with a flexible common screen has been mastered
• Production of flexible mine cables with six and nine control cores has been mastered
• Production of flexible power cables with insulation and sheath of thermoplastic elastomer according to GOST 24334-2020 has been mastered
• Production of fire-resistant power cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation for the voltage of 6 and 10 kV has been mastered
• Production of automotive and tractor wires with PVC insulation with an operating temperature of up to 105°C has been mastered
• Production of wires with an operating temperature of up to 125°C, used for bundles of vehicle electrical installations has been mastered
• Production of extruded aluminum busbars for electrical use has been mastered
• Production of 18 unique types and sizes of water-cooled cables has been mastered
• 135 changes in the technological process of manufacturing cable products has been introduced.
